The SV-228 is the consistent further development of one of ours successful amplifiers series in the Power Line. In a complete new design, with a VU meter embedded in the front panel.

We decided on a consistent symmetrical design to minimize crossfeed and achieve a better distortion factor. In the pre-amp, 3 tubes per side work with the Shunt Regulatet Push-Pull concept to process the souond signals.

The consequent enhancement of our succesful tube phono preamplifier, the PHO-700, has now the possibility to make exact adjustments for the pick-up cartridge through DIP-switches.
